Campdrafters from across Western Australia will vie for more than $12,000 in cash and prizes at the inaugural “Wellard Star of the West” campdraft, to be held at Northam, 90km east of Perth, from November 14th – 16th
The “Wellard Star of the West” will comprise of eight drafts, and trade stalls, over three days, using quality lines of cattle sourced by Wellard Rural Exports from WA’s North.
As well as providing a great opportunity for WA campdrafters, the “Wellard Star of the West” will also provide quality viewing for horse enthusiasts or the general public who want to witness some of the best examples of unity between horse and rider you will ever see.
In addition to the drafting there will be fun for the kids, food and refreshments, bar and entertainment each night.
