Thanks for the emails and text messages. Yes Matt had some bad luck but his heart is truely an inspiration to many people especially me as a father, it broke my heart to see him put in an unbeleivable effort and then go through what he did. He would definitely be in top 10 of his class had it not happened. But then what truely bought a tear to my eye was the mx test he did when the bike was fixed was incredible, he got the best time of any Australian and 10th best outright time. The event is so amazing, it's great and to the families of Liam and Paul, these two lads are fantastic and I have enjoyed them and watching them ride, they are real COOL. Darren

Hi All.
I have been witness to two days of racing and I can tell you the conditions are extremely hard like I have never seen before.The boys are all doing so well we are proud of them. I have also worked the first two days at a check point which was hot and I am coming home to Australia with plenty of Greek dust in my lungs. The team as a whole is working very well with Dale organising absolutly everything to keeping the boys clean and healthy and she is like all of our mothers over here and PR Pete is doing a unreal job as team manager and of course his talent of promotion and getting contacts in case a favour is required. Cheers for all the well wishes.

Yes you do get penalised if you come in early. Enduro's have very strict time controls and for every second you are early or late you get penalised one point. So the idea is to arrive and leave excactly on the times you are alocated. The only place you need to go as fast as you can is in the special tests where the lowest time you can get is the best. Greece is really nice. Haven't been cold since we have been here. Been and walked 3 tests yesterday and will probely walk 3 more today. Apperently there is an 800m hill climb in one of the trails so it should be interesting. Should get our bikes in the next couple of days. With Ben's jersey. cya

Thank you for your support. I will be riding a WR 450 at the ISDE and the suspension should be quiet different set up to mx suspension I should imagine. It will be very different terrain to a mx track.

Paul I hope you are getting plenty of tyre changing practice because I think you will need it. Have you been practising much?

Hi Daniel. Tyre changing is not something I have done a lot of in my MX career. But I did a session recently and learned how to change the Mousse tubes and tyres we will be using for the Six Day in Greece.
It was not that difficult but it will require me to have a good technique. I do think it will be harder after riding for seven hours and only having fifteen minutes at the work station each day to get it done.

I've a question for Matt. Now you have all this experience under your belt, how will you approach the Greece ISDE compared to the Chile ISDE when you first started?

Hi, now that I have experienced a sixday that I competed in Chile last year I will approch it with alot more confidence and I am now aware of what to expect.
I will use my head alot more this year and be alot smarter as last year I crashed alot. I can't wait to get to Greece and race.
