Wellard is a strong believer that the company plays an important social role within the community.
We are a committed supporter of a number charities and community and industry groups.
For example, in the past three years we have raised more than $200,000 from our Christmas Charity Auction for selected charities. In 2007 Wellard arranged for Italian MotoGP champion Loris Capirossi to visit Perth for a Variety WA fundraiser. More than $40,000 was raised for the children's charity as a result.
We are also an active participant in many industry and community groups. One of our biggest investments in the agricultural community is the funding of an animal production lecturing position at the Murdoch University.
